Security Monitoring

Camera Health and System Monitoring

The most expensive camera fault is the one nobody notices until footage is needed. Our operators are looking at your feeds every shift, so failures surface immediately.

A camera that stopped recording three weeks ago looks exactly like a camera that is working, right up until the moment you need the footage. Sites routinely discover this at the worst possible time.

Because our operators view your feeds as part of their normal shift, a lost, blocked, or degraded camera is noticed the same day and reported to whoever handles your maintenance.

Questions

Questions about camera health and system monitoring

Will you fix a camera that goes down?

No, unless we have separately agreed to. We tell you promptly and precisely what appears to be wrong so your installer or maintenance provider can act with useful information rather than starting from scratch.

Can you confirm my cameras are recording?

We can confirm that a live feed is reaching us and that the image is usable. Confirming that recording and retention are correctly configured is a function of your recorder and is checked differently.

How quickly will I hear about an offline camera?

Within the shift during which it is observed. On monitored sites this is usually the same day, and often within the hour.
