Construction Sites

A construction site is a warehouse without walls. Everything valuable is outdoors, the perimeter changes weekly, and the site is empty for two-thirds of every day.

Sites lose plant, tools, fuel, and materials at a rate that would close a retail business, and most of it goes overnight from areas that cameras already cover. What is usually missing is somebody watching while it happens.

Netex Security monitors sites during shutdown hours and, where required, through the working day for contractor attendance and delivery verification. Reports are structured so that the site manager, the main contractor, and the insurer can all use the same record.

Questions

Construction Sites: common questions

We use temporary 4G camera towers. Can you monitor those?

In most cases yes. Rapid-deployment towers are common on sites and are usually accessible through a cloud platform. Compatibility is confirmed during the CCTV risk review.

Our perimeter changes every few weeks. Is that a problem?

No, but the monitoring protocol needs to change with it. Site protocols are reviewed on a schedule agreed with you, and camera repositioning should be notified so coverage stays accurate.

Can you help with an insurance claim after a theft?

We can provide the monitoring record: what was observed, when, and on which camera. We do not provide legal evidence certification, and how the record is used in a claim is for you and your insurer.

Do you monitor during working hours too?

Many sites do, primarily for contractor attendance and delivery verification rather than security. Schedules are set by you.
