Employee Attendance Monitoring
A rota says who should have been there. Cameras show who was. Attendance monitoring reports the gap between the two.
Attendance disputes are rarely about dishonesty. More often a shift pattern drifted, a contractor left early on a Friday, or a night guard signed a sheet from the car park. None of that shows up in a payroll system.
Netex Security compares what your cameras show against the schedule you supply and reports the exceptions. You get a factual record instead of a disagreement between two recollections.

Service Conditions
Attendance observations depend on visible camera coverage and approved monitoring policies. Where an entrance is not covered, or several people enter together, an observation may be incomplete and is reported as such.
Employee monitoring must comply with workplace laws and your own written employee monitoring policy. Staff notification and consent requirements vary by jurisdiction and remain the client’s responsibility.
These are camera observations, not time-clock records. Payroll, disciplinary, and employment decisions remain entirely the client’s responsibility.
Full conditions applying to every Netex Security service are set out on the Service Limitations page.

Questions about employee attendance monitoring
Does this replace our time and attendance system?
No. It gives you an independent visual observation you can compare against the system you already use. Clients typically use it where a clock-in record and reality appear to have diverged.
Do we have to tell staff?
In most jurisdictions, yes, and we strongly recommend it regardless. Employee monitoring works best when it is documented, disclosed, and applied consistently. See our Employee Monitoring and Workplace Privacy Notice.
Can you monitor break lengths?
Only where breaks are taken in areas your cameras legitimately cover. Break rooms, changing areas, and other private spaces are never monitored.
