Only where the camera, angle, and lighting make the plate legible. We report what is legible and never guess at characters. Dedicated ANPR is a different technology with different requirements.
Can you tell if a trailer is being taken without authorisation?
Where you supply the expected movement schedule, an operator can flag movements outside it and escalate immediately under your protocol.
Our yard runs all night. When would you monitor?
Typically continuously for the perimeter and gates, since an active yard at night is exactly when unauthorised movement blends in.
