Restaurants, Cafés and Fast-Food Locations

Food businesses lose money in small, constant amounts: comped meals, unrecorded waste, staff meals that were never rung through, and a back door that stays open all evening.

Hospitality runs on speed, and speed makes procedure the first thing to go. That is where the loss lives, and it is almost always visible on the cameras that are already installed.

Netex Security covers both the money side and the operational side, from till exceptions to drive-thru waiting times, and reports them together so a manager sees one picture of the shift.

Questions

Restaurants, Cafés and Fast-Food Locations: common questions

Can you monitor kitchen hygiene?

We can observe visible practices where cameras lawfully cover kitchen areas, such as handwashing at a visible sink or use of designated preparation areas. We are not a food safety auditor and our observations do not replace formal inspection.

Can you measure drive-thru times?

We report observed timings from camera timestamps at the points you nominate. It is an operational observation rather than a timing system integrated with your order platform.

A customer says they slipped in our restaurant. Can you help?

If it happened during monitored hours in a covered area, we can provide the observation and the footage reference. What happens next is between you, your insurer, and your legal advisers.
