POS Exception Verification

Your POS already flags exceptions. What it cannot tell you is whether a customer was standing there when the refund was processed.

Exception reports from a point-of-sale system are a list of things that might be a problem. Without video, someone has to work through them on intuition, and most get closed as inconclusive.

Pairing each exception with the corresponding camera view turns a maybe into an observation. Cases resolve faster, genuine errors are recognised as errors, and repeat patterns become obvious.

Service Conditions

Compatibility

Netex Security does not claim universal POS compatibility. Integration options depend on your POS platform, its export capabilities, and your provider’s access terms. Compatibility is confirmed before this service begins.

Camera dependency

Exception review requires the terminal, the operator position, and the customer position to be visible. Where the till is only partially covered, findings will be limited accordingly.

Important

Netex Security may provide monitoring observations, reconciliation support, and management reports. Final accounting, tax, payroll, audit, legal, and financial decisions remain the client’s responsibility. Netex Security is not a licensed accounting firm.

Full conditions applying to every Netex Security service are set out on the Service Limitations page.

Questions

Questions about pos exception verification

Which POS systems do you work with?

We assess this per client rather than publishing a list we cannot guarantee. What matters is whether your platform can export transaction data or provide an exception feed we can work from.

Can you review every transaction?

That is rarely worthwhile. Exception-driven review focuses effort where the risk is, which is why it is built around your POS thresholds rather than volume.

What if we have no POS integration at all?

Then start with cash and transaction verification, which works from records you supply and from camera observation alone.
