Service Limitations

Why this page exists

Security marketing tends toward promises that nobody can keep. This page states the limits of what we do, so that expectations are set before an engagement begins rather than after an incident.

What we do not guarantee

• Netex Security does not guarantee that all theft, crime, loss, misconduct, or emergencies will be detected or prevented.
• We do not guarantee that authorities will attend, or how quickly they will respond. That decision belongs to them.
• We do not guarantee that a deterrent action, including an audio warning, will end an incident.
• We do not guarantee recovery of stolen property or of losses.

Conditions affecting every service

• Netex Security provides monitoring observations, operational support, and reporting based on the services selected.
• Monitoring outcomes depend on camera placement, image quality, lighting, visibility, internet availability, access, and the monitoring hours selected.
• Activity outside camera coverage or outside monitored hours is not observed.
• Final accounting, payroll, tax, legal, and financial decisions remain the client's responsibility. Netex Security is not a licensed accounting firm.
• Audio monitoring must comply with applicable privacy and consent laws, and is not available on every camera system.
• Employee monitoring must comply with workplace laws and written client policies.
• Telecom portal support requires authorised access and written client permission.
• POS, inventory, access-control, and carrier-platform integrations depend on technical compatibility.
• Bathrooms, changing rooms, sleeping areas, and other legally protected private spaces are never monitored.
• Emergency escalation follows the client's approved protocol.

What we are not

• We are not a CCTV installation or maintenance company, unless separately agreed.
• We are not an alarm receiving centre, a keyholding company, or a guarding company. We do not attend sites.
• We are not a private police force and hold no enforcement powers.
• We are not an accounting, legal, payroll, or audit firm.
• We do not provide legal evidence certification or forensic analysis.

What this means in practice

Live human monitoring shortens the distance between something happening and somebody knowing about it. That is a meaningful change to how a site is protected, and it is a different claim from preventing crime. We would rather be clear about the difference at the start.
