Workforce and Operations

Staff Activity and Accountability

Standard operating procedures only mean something if somebody checks them. Netex Security checks the ones your cameras can actually see.

Most operational problems are procedural rather than criminal: the counter left unattended during a delivery, the stockroom door propped open, the closing checklist done from memory. These are cheap to fix once you can see them.

This service reports against the procedures you define. We do not invent standards for your business, and we do not report on anything outside the scope you have documented and disclosed to staff.

How findings are reported

  • Daily exception reports rather than continuous commentary

  • Timestamps and camera references so you can review it yourself
  • Weekly patterns where the same exception repeats
  • Coaching observations for managers, where you have asked for them

Service Conditions

Areas we never monitor

Bathrooms, changing rooms, staff rest areas used for private purposes, and other legally protected private areas are never monitored, regardless of whether a camera exists there.

Workplace law and disclosure

Employee monitoring must comply with workplace laws and written client policies. Staff should be informed that monitoring takes place, and the scope should be documented before the service begins.

Observation, not assessment

We report what was visible. Performance management, disciplinary process, and any conclusion drawn from an observation remain the client’s responsibility.

Full conditions applying to every Netex Security service are set out on the Service Limitations page.

Questions

Questions about staff activity and accountability

Is this not just watching our staff all day?

No, and clients who ask for that are usually asking for the wrong service. This reports defined exceptions against procedures you set. Continuous surveillance of individuals is neither useful nor, in most jurisdictions, lawful.

Can you listen to staff conversations?

Only where audio is technically supported, legally permitted in your jurisdiction, properly disclosed, and explicitly authorised by you. Most engagements are video only.

What if a manager wants a report on one specific person?

We report on defined procedures across the site rather than running targeted surveillance of an individual. If there is a specific concern, that is usually an internal HR matter, and the appropriate route is a documented request with a defined scope and period.
